Turkey and Syria: Scholarship Support for F-1 Students in the U.S.

Approach International Student Center remains dedicated to providing opportunities to international students currently in the United States who are affected by global conflicts and natural disasters. 

In response to the recent devastating earthquake that occurred in Turkey and Syria on February 6th, 2023, Approach is distributing 50 scholarships to international students currently in the US and, impacted by this tragedy in an effort to provide immediate assistance to students who may have been left in a state of despair.

These scholarships will cover all school costs, including application and registration fees, materials, and tuition fees, for up to a 6-month full-time program at Approach International Student Center. 

Our community welcomes all cultures, religions, and genders, and aims to create a safe environment that fosters learning and supports the journey of each student toward success.

Requirements

  • Be a citizen of Turkey or Syria currently in the U.S. enrolled at a private institution as an F1 student or refugee;

There is no essay requirement for this scholarship. Please complete the following application form, explain how the current situation is affecting your ability to continue your studies in the U.S., and submit it along with the required documentation.

Make sure to include in your email your full name and country of residence. The deadline to apply for this  scholarship is February 28th 2023.
